I was a born public personality and entertainer.  I received my training in public speaking and performed my first directorial assignments at 14 focusing on stage and theatre. I received my formal training in stage and theatre at 17 and started teaching film and acting in my 30s but did not get involved with the media until 2013 as a TV show producer, host and coach. As part of my media network, I would offer workshops to media enthusiasts about hosting, public speaking and confidence. 

I have a strong stage presence and connect very well with my audience. As a host and emcee, my focus is on the audience because the event is for them. I want to make sure that as an emcee, I am able to bring value to the event and create a lasting impact with the audience so that they will want to come back for more.

As a talk show host, I always believe that the show is not about me, but my guest. The show that I am hosting is a platform to show the guest in their very best, literally and figuratively. 

I take my job as an emcee or host very seriously because my goal is to deliver a powerful presentation of the event from start to finish.

One of my biggest legacies is eveRIAthing, an online platform that I co-founded with my youngest daughter, Ria Jade.  eveRIAthing features inspiring stories, people and events. Through eveRIAthing, we are able to support causes around mental health, body image and the LGBTQ community.
